Yorkshire Classical Associates Applications

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Thank you for your interest in our associate programme. This is an opportunity for dancers aged 6-16 already taking at least, one ballet class per week, to excel and fulfil their passion of Ballet. We are driven to nurture the future dancers of this world along side the training they are already receiving.

We remain dedicated to creating an atmosphere where the student, will be able to receive the training and develop their understanding of classical technique for the serious dancer. We feel extremely passionate about helping those who have dreams of one day going to vocational dance college and then becoming a professional dancer.

In 2025, we will be going into our seventh year. Over years has been really positive, the dancers have improved considerably and we are really proud of their achievements. These include a British Juvenile Ballet 3rd Place Championship Finalist, and a dancer who successfully auditioned for the Birmingham Royal Ballets’ Nutcracker. As everything which is newly established, we have found areas where we can improve and are excited to implement these next year. The first big change is the class sessions, please see below for the newly structured times and classes. A second is that we will also be incorporating exercises from the Progressing Ballet Technique syllabus across all three sessions. We have left students to take responsibility of their own at home development, but feel we could monitor this more closely next year too.
